Crystal Zillwood – Spirals/House of Strays

Spirals is a triple bill of dance solos looking at how we sleep and the dance inherent in our sleepy selves – starting by celebrating the everyday with ‘These Hands’, using the voices of those that work on a dairy farm in Devon, and ending with ‘Evolutio’, a piece which looks at how we came to be and where we possibly might be heading as a species.

Then a short interval after which we head into a performance of House Of Strays with ‘Everything in Between’.  Using dance, text and live music, Everything in Between is an investigation into existence and the nature of ‘a lifetime’; the rules we make for ourselves as individuals and as a society and how each generation bestows fictions to those coming next.
