Lily Neill – Celtic Harpist

Friday 9th March 2018

Put aside everything you ever thought you knew about the harp and open your ears to the wealth of sound that two hands and thirty strings can conjure! Lily Neill has performed for everyone from presidents, ambassadors, and luminaries in the world of music to young music students and listeners who never dreamed they’d ever see a harp – let alone hear one create a magnificently vivid soundscape!

As a child, Lily performed for the likes of US President Bill Clinton and alongside Irish supergroup, “The Chieftains”.  Lily plays her own original compositions and a dynamic mixture of Irish jigs and reels, Lithuanian dances, Finnish tangos and American Ragtime and has regularly enthralled audiences around the world.

“One of the most challenging and provocative musicians of her time – Lily Neill’s daredevil approach works wonders.” Irish Music Magazine
